Chloé & Bryan

Dear friends and family,

Sadly, we are writing now to let you know that due to family health issues, we must postpone the celebration of our marriage and will not be celebrating on August 22nd as planned. We know many of you planned trips for this celebration and we are truly and deeply sorry for all inconvenience and expense.

We appreciate your understanding and ongoing support through this challenging time and we hope to celebrate together in future.

With love and gratitude,

Chloé and Bryan

Please join Chloé Lawrence Fink and Bryan Tyler Robertson from August 21 – 23, 2026 as they celebrate their wedding in England.

Chloé’s Story

Anyone who knows Chloé knows her affection for animals, especially cats, runs deep, matched only by her obsession with food, love for plants and enthusiasm for travel.

Born in London with British, French, and American citizenships, Chloé’s childhood was as international as her passports. She bounced from British primary school to a brief French boarding school adventure, then moved to Dubai in 7th grade, before heading back to the UK to finish high school.

Before Yale, Chloé took a detour and trained as a chef in Tbilisi, Georgia. She’s also a dive-master scuba diver who once lived aboard a dive boat doing marine conservation — because apparently law school wasn’t ambitious enough.

Chloé holds a B.S. from Yale, a J.D. from Columbia Law School, an LL.M. from the London School of Economics, and a Certificate in International and Comparative Law from Columbia’s Parker School.

When she’s not working hard as an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell, you’ll find her rescuing animals, gardening, cooking, skiing, snowboarding, or planning her next adventure.

Bryan’s Story

These days he goes by Bryan, but if you knew him growing up, he was Tyler and that sense of mischievous adventure never changed. Bryan grew up in Katonah, New York, developing an early love for athletics, the outdoors, and discovering new places, preferably on foot, with a long run leading the way.

During his senior year of high school, Bryan was diagnosed with a cerebral aneurysm that required invasive surgery and a long recovery. When a traditional college path was put on pause, he chose a very different route and joined the U.S. Marine Corps.

Bryan served for five years, primarily in the intelligence community, rising to the rank of Sergeant and leading a platoon of Marines and government contractors supporting operations around the world and graduated from the Marine Corps Communication Electronics School.

After completing his service, Bryan earned a B.A. from Yale University. Outside of work, he is passionate about staying active and exploring new places, whether traveling, skiing, running through new places, spending time with Sterling, or laying in the sun.

Bryan is a Managing Partner at 42 Asset Management, a New York based private equity firm.

Our Story

Chloé and Bryan met at Yale in 2018 as friends before beginning their relationship in 2019. That summer, Bryan planned their first trip together to Portugal, sparking what would become their favourite shared pastime: traveling.

They now live in New York City, where they love to cook together and try new restaurants, though nothing beats hosting a dinner party for friends at home. In 2020, Bryan purchased and renovated their home in Westchester, and the couple soon welcomed Sterling, their Australian Shepherd. In 2022, Chloé began law school and became active in cat rescue and Bass joined the family, finally, in 2023, Willa was adopted, and the trio of fur-babies was complete.

From early on, Chloé and Bryan knew they were stronger as a team. That belief carried them through years of living across countries, demanding schedules, and major life transitions. Bryan was a steady, unwavering presence throughout Chloé’s law school journey, offering constant support, encouragement, and perspective. In turn, Chloé became Bryan’s greatest champion as he launched 42AM, returning that same faith and dedication. No matter the distance or challenge, their relationship has been defined by deep respect, shared ambition, and a commitment to showing up for one another, proving that partnership for them is not just about love, but about truly building a life side by side.

Together, Chloé and Bryan have traveled throughout the USA, UK, Greece, Portugal, Switzerland, Spain, France, Aruba, the Bahamas, Norway, Svalbard, and Turkey. In Cappadocia, Bryan proposed at sunrise as hot air balloons filled the sky, a fitting moment for two people who love nothing more than exploring the world together.
